The Dunes Hotel (4*), The Dunes Village, Badesi Mare, North Coast, Sardinia
Situated in Badesi Mare on the Gulf of Asinara alongside beautiful sand dunes and 8 km of semi-deserted sandy beach bordered by sweetly scented juniper and macchia, the 4* Dunes Hotel Village blends perfectly with the surrounding landscape. It is conveniently located approximately 1 hour by car from both Alghero and Olbia, in between Isola Rossa and the picturesque fishing village of Castelsardo.
The village has 6 excellent restaurants with food to suit all tastes and another one just for children. Four have themed menus, one has an international menu and the other has speciality dishes and candlelit table service. There are 4 bars, 4 swimming pools including one just for children, a fantasy village playground built on sand for children, the new Duneland Castle play zone for toddlers and many sports facilities. The wonderful long-winding white sandy beach is just 200m from the entrance of the village and is ideal for long walks and water sports.
This family-friendly resort has excellent facilities for children. Parents of young babies will especially love the Baby Kitchen facility with fridge stocked with milk and yoghurt, a microwave, bottle sterilisers and bottle warmers etc. The mini-clubs are for children aged from 18 months to 17 years old and babysitting is available too. If you are eating at the Romantico Restaurant then the Dunes offers a free babysitting service for children under 6 in the mini-club from 20:30 - 23:30 (dinner not included). Guests eating in other restaurants may use this service at a cost of €12 per child for three hours. Twice a week it is possible for children aged 6 to 12 to be supervised along with other children over dinner.
The resort is divided into four areas – Ginepri, Palme, Rocce and the most luxurious and latest addition La Duna Bianca. Ginepri, Palme and Rocce blend perfectly into the surrounding unspoilt nature made of lush gardens with Mediterranean palms and pines. Ginepri and Palme are particularly suitable for families with children while the more reserved Rocce is better suited to adults. Each of the areas have their own pool and all of the rooms have furnished terrace, air conditioning, safe, Satellite TV, phone and fridge. In the suites the air conditioning is in the living room.

Le Palme
Ideal for parents with one child under six years of age and for young people, Le Palme is located in the centre of the complex. Standard rooms are available here with double/twin beds for two adults and one child under 6 in a sofa bed or cot. Cots are available on request and free of charge.
I Ginepri
This is a paradise for families and children with spacious deluxe rooms, junior suites and senior suites available. Deluxe rooms have a double/twin bed with the possibility of having a third person in a sofa bed or cot on request. Junior suites have a double bed or twin beds and a separate living room with single sofa beds and can take up to five people. Senior suites are like the juniors except with an extra twin bedroom and sleep up to 6. On request there are two presidential suites available, which are like the senior suites but more richly furnished and come with 2 TVs.
Le Rocce
This a haven for couples is in a particularly tranquil corner of the resort. Deluxe rooms (sleep 3) with verandas with table, chairs and sun-bed. Children under 6 are not permitted in the rooms, the pool, the bar or the restaurant in this area of the resort. A special area on the beach with sun beds and parasols is reserved for Le Rocce guests. The deluxe bedrooms consist of a double bedroom and the possibility of accommodating a third person over the age of 6 years in a sofa bed.
La Duna Bianca
This latest and most exclusive addition of the Dune's resort has a priveleged postion as it has been built across the road of the long winding sandy beach. Eight luxurious suites designed with style and with large terraces, absorbing the most amazing view of the sea and spectacular sunsets. Breakfast will be served directly on the terrace.

The many facilities and activities, the large safe grounds, the various mini-club options and the wonderful beach make this a truly special place for families with children and for groups of friends.
A free shuttle service operates daily (exc, Sat) to and from Badesi village centre which has bank, post office, chemists and various other shops. There is an information point, Dunepoint, where you can sign up for any of the organised excursions and where you can arrange car, scooter and boat hire. The Reception desk is open 24 hours and has an Internet point.

LE PALME Standard room
This is a room with the option of double bed or twin beds suitable for two adults and one child under 6 years of age that can sleep in an armchair foldout bed.
GINEPRI Superior room
A room with a double bed suitable for 2 adults. A third person can be accommodated in an armchair foldout bed or if you would need a cot as an alternative you can reserve one when booking with no extra charge.
GINEPRI Family suite
This consists of a room with double bed plus a separate living room with two single built-in sofa-beds (or two armchair foldout beds). It accommodates two adults, a third; fourth and fifth person can be added. It is spacious with simple and functional furniture and located close to the main services of the resort.
GINEPRI Family senior suite
Just like the Family suite but it has an extra room with two single beds and accommodates three adults and up to a further three persons. This has a minimum price of 3 paying adults.

Elegant room with a double bed and lounge area, for two adults + infant with cot
