This romantic spa hotel, situated in the picturesque fishing of Isola Rossa in the Asinara Gulf, is a perfect choice for a relaxing holiday. Isola Rossa is a very scenic part of the island, with its little red granite harbour, its historic Aragonese tower, its beautiful beaches and its relaxing coastal walks. It is about an hours drive from both Olbia and Alghero airport. Although the hotel is private and secluded boasting wonderful panoramic sea views, it is also conveniently located within easy walking distance of the shops and the promenade in Isola Rossa.

There are many beautiful beaches nearby. The lovely Isola Rossa beach with fine white sands, where you can hire sun-beds and parasols, is 250 m from the hotel and can be easily reached from the promenade. The wild and beautiful Marinedda beach is 800m away and can be reached via paths along the rocky coastline. Just a stones throw from the hotel itself are lovely little rocky coves with crystal clear waters a perfect snorkelling spot - equipped with sun beds and parasols. 5 minutes away by boat is the wonderful untouched Badesi beach where you can find deserted stretches of sand and sea even in the main season.

The hotel has 2 sea water pools: one in the spa (payment required) and a very large main pool with panoramic views. There are sun-beds around the pool, which is watched by a lifeguard and there is a bar there.

The hotel spa, which they refer to locally as a "wellness centre" is the perfect way to spoil yourself. Its facilities include heated sea-water pool with hydro-massage, sauna, Turkish Bath, an elegant environment for various types of massage, Jacuzzis, beauty salon, fully-equipped gym, water-gymnastics and bar and teashop.

The rooms have been tastefully decorated in a typical Mediterranean style. There are various types of room available but all of them have terrace, bathroom with shower, air conditioning, phone, safe, fridge and Satellite TV.

Standard rooms

Double or twin bedroom for 2 adults. Could also accommodate an infant under the age of two in a cot on request.

Superior rooms

Double or twin bedroom for 2 adults. A third person under the age of 12 can be accommodated in a single sofa bed.

Deluxe rooms

Double bedroom for 2 adults. A third and fourth person under the age of 12 can be accommodated in single sofa beds.

Junior suites

Double bedroom and second room with either twin beds or single sofa beds. Sleeps a maximum of 4 people.

There are two good restaurants: The Tramonto Rosso, which serves sophisticated international cuisine, island specialities and which has theme evenings and the romantic Sotto Le Stelle which serves candlelit dinners on the terrace while you enjoy the enchanting sunset over the Gulf of Asinara and which specialises in seafood.

Thalassotherapy is based on the practical application of beneficial minerals contained in the sea. In the olden days these minerals were held to be extremely important for health and beauty. The Mediterranean Sea has a high salt content and is therefore particularly suited to the practice of thalassotherapy and Sardinia with its unique pure crystal clear waters is the ideal place for these treatments.

Using the goodness in the various particles contained in marine waters, thalassotherapy is beneficial for the body and the mind and is a good treatment for reducing stress due to its toning and energising effect. The treatments are enriched by the use of essential oils contained in the aromatic plants that grow in Sardinia.

• 4 thalassotherapy treatments in 3 baths of varying temperature and saline content and hydro-massage enriched by toning essential oils.
