La Residenza, Cala di Volpe, Costa Smeralda, Sardinia

This residence is built only a stones throw away from four secluded sandy beaches, which in our opinion are the most beautiful ones on the Costa Smeralda.
An abundance of olive, myrtle and eucalyptus trees shades the granite-stone terraced cottages and fills the air with their delightful fragrance. The interiors are decorated in a traditional Sardinian style and are simple and yet very comfortable. The welcoming and friendly owners have given a lot of care and attention to detail, both inside and outside. The rooms have terracotta floors, ceramic tiles and hand-carved furniture made from scented juniper wood. The living rooms open out onto attractive, partially shaded stone patios bordered by mature olive trees and other Mediterranean plants and flowers. All cottages have air-conditioning.
There are three new swimming pools: a very large main pool with a separate area to practise scuba diving, a beautiful pool for children and a Jacuzzi. The well-tended enclosed Mediterranean gardens and the tennis court add the finishing touches to this charming small resort. A place that retains its appeal even during the busiest season, due to the truly unique beauty of its beaches and unspoilt surroundings. A few restaurants are within walking distance and one of them has a children's play area. One of the nearby beaches has a well-stocked bar/cafeteria. La Residenza has its own diving school, whilst the famous Pevero Golf Course is just a stones throw away. The renowned Porto Cervo is 7km.

Also available is Gli Oleandri, a privately owned house with a shared pool, situated two minutes drive from La Residenza. As they share the same owner Gli Oleandri guests have free access to all the facilities of La Residenza, including large pool, seperate childrens pool, Jacuzzi, tennis court and parking.
