Villa Corbezzolo, Southern Sardinia

Villa Corbezzolo is a spacious villa situated in an area of amazing natural beauty, with acres of unspoilt and wild countryside covering gently rolling hills and white sandy beaches. An area somehow still undiscovered by main tourism.

One of 30 other villas, villa Corbezzolo is part of a very well-kept small residence, enclosed and surrounded only by uninhabited country side overlooking two marvellous unspoiled white sandy beaches. One of which is the picturesque Teuledda and the other, renowned in Sardinia for its unspoilt beauty, Chia Beach. Fig trees, palms and scented rosemary bushes and other typical Mediterranean plants are scattered around the scented wild macchia and grow in the garden surrounding the villa.

Villa Corbezzolo is situated some 45 km to Cagliari Airport. BA fly from Cagliari to Gatwick or easyJet from Cagliari to Luton. Alternatively Olbias Airport, in the Northern part of Sardinia is some 2.5 hrs away.

Villa Corbezzolo is peaceful, comfortable and spacious. It has a total of 2 double bedrooms and 2 twin bedrooms situated on 2 floors, the ground floor and the first floor, where we can find air-conditioning. One of the room on the first floor leads onto a small terrace with sea views. On the first floor there is a bathroom with bathtub. On the ground floor there is another bathroom with shower cubicle.

The rooms are of good size and comfortably furnished. On the ground floor there is a very spacious living room with a charming corner fireplace and a large dining table. Satellite TV. Small double sofa bed. The kitchen is fully equipped with many useful utensils. Washing machine. Microwave. Kettle and toaster. There is a separate laundry room and external shower. The living room leads out onto a spacious, shaded terrace with scenic views of the beach from the distance and the countryside. This will be the most enchanting spot to dine al fresco and enjoy the views!

The terrace is also a perfect place for children to play as it is very spacious and is fenced with gate to ensure safety. The villa has a small garden with Mediterranean trees and flowers and a separate area on the 1st floor with a marquis for barbeque. On the lower ground floor there is a small flat with separate entrance, where the owner may spend the occasional week- end. This has separate entrance and does not interfere with the privacy of the guest.

Villa Corbezzolo will be the perfect accommodation for a beach holiday, for a large family although it can also be rented for a reduced price to a smaller family. The proximity of the secluded beach, which can be reached directly from the residence will grant a truly relaxing stay.

About Cagliari …

Cagliari is Sardinia's largest southern city and a stepping stone to the islands beautiful natural attractions. It is also a town to be visited as it offers a rich cocktail of Italian culture and Sardinian tradition. A town to be enjoyed, day and night.

Here are some of the “itineraries” we recommend:

Via Roma

The elegant “high street” palm-shop-cafĂ©-lined is the perfect place to enjoy caffe e cornetto during the first hours of the morning. In this area you will find the exclusive shops, alongside the harbour and spreading up to the foot of the walled Medieval castle. The Antico Caffe, 10-11 Piazza Costitutuzione, elegant and classy is famous for having served fresh fruit and paste, fresh pastry for breakfast since 1855.

Piazza Yenne

Meeting point and social centre of Cagliari – the place where the Cagliaritani choose to have their Sunday promenade with bars and cafes within very close vicinity. Cagliari's old town, the Castello district boasts lots of narrow lanes with picturesque squares and small shops.

Trenino Cagliaritano: a train for “tourists” from Piazza del Carmine. These red trains leave 45 minutes and travel around town.

Orto Botanico

Shady and peaceful – the lush botanic garden is situated in Viale San Ignazio da Laconi / North East of the Stampace district.

Food Marked and Bar Marrakech (via Tiziano)

One of Europe's largest covered markets. An amazing gathering of colours, fragrances and tastes. A place not to be missed!

And finally something for the evening:

I Quattro Mori

(Tel.: +39 070 650 290)
The “Four Moors” (Sardinia's distinctive flag) is one of the best places to eat. A rich variety of authentic Sardinian dishes. Excellent.
