Its peaceful position is enviable as it is just round the corner from the renowned piazzetta of Porto Rafael — Porto Rafael is one of the most fashionable villages of the Costa Smeralda — close to shops but also to a multitude of peaceful romantic sandy coves with incredibly transparent water.
We recommend this romantic getaway from spring to late autumn to couples who like privacy but also do not want to be too far away from amenities and the sea.
Porto Rafael is situated right in the North of the island, 2 km from Palau opposite the Maddalena islands and the Archipelago, the most protected area of the Mediterranean, a handful of small islands to visit for a swim in incredibly transparent water. This small, sleepy fishing village has retained its discreet and exclusive character and life revolves lazily around the main piazza and tiny yacht club, where espresso is served in the “Nelson Pub”!
