La Maddalena
The island is connected to the main island by a network of ferries which leave from Palau. The spectacular mix of rocky coasts and sumptuous sandy beaches with crystal blue seas make Maddalena a unique and startlingly beautiful place. Along the coast you will find a series of 19th century buildings, towered over by the granite hill of Guardia Vecchia.
To the docks, and you will find the XXIII Febbraio 1793 square which opens to the Cala Gavetta bay, with its colourful fishing boats and yachts that arrive in summer. The scenic route around the island will lead you to the beaches and coves of Cala Francese, Cala d'Inferno, Bassa Trinita, Lo Strangolato, Stagno Torto, Monti d'a Rena, Cardellino, Punta Marginetto, Porto Massimo, Spalmatore, and Giardinelli, each one beautiful and valuable.

- Very well furnished with contemporary décor, fashioned from precious local materials, including the island's famous granite.
- Very large living room with open fire place, large white sofas, plasma television, stereos, designer table for 8-12 people, open plan kitchen, with state-of-the-art Miele fridge freezer and oven, dishwasher and washing machine, and two beautiful bathrooms decorated with hand painted tiles by Cera Sarda.
- Outside patio and private pool, and a shaded area by the pool equipped for outside cooking with a modern barbecue.
This beautiful villa is extremely secluded, standing just several metres from the edge of the sea. The coast here is characterised by flat granite slabs, and the area is wonderful to spend time around and for sunbathing, but those who desire sandy beaches will find them within twenty minutes walk, or a short drive.
In the same area, but distant from the villa, is a gathering of refurbished homes which were the granite workers' quarters, which are now rented to holiday makers – otherwise the villa is in perfect seclusion.
