Villa Bougainvillea, Puntaldia, South of Olbia, Sardinia
This lovely villa, named after the flowers that surround it, is situated 20 km South of Olbia in Puntaldia - a marvellous corner of Sardinia between two beautiful beaches: Cala Brandinchi on one side and the very long white sandy La Cinta beach on the other.
Puntaldia is a small resort centred around a small picturesque marina and lively small piazza. Around the piazza, which is within walking distance of the villa, there are two lovely cafe/bars, a restaurant, a few boutiques and a small supermarket. A renowned golf course is just a stone's throw away.
Villa Bougainvillea is built in a tranquil and private residential area surrounded by greenery, palms and flowers and has its own parking space. The swimming pool is shared with the other eight villas nearby.
The villa has been divided into two apartments. A large apartment which takes up the whole of the first floor of the villa with independent entrance and large private terraces. A small apartment on the lower ground floor.
The villa's interiors have both an elegant quality and a slightly oriental touch. The lovely lounge is decorated with large paintings and is tastefully and immaculately furnished with sofa, dining area with glass table and fireplace with TV. The bright sunny lounge leads out onto terraces on two sides with beautiful plants and flowers along with sun loungers, table and chairs for dining 'al fresco'. Both terraces boast wonderful 180 degrees sea views.
The smart kitchen is well equipped with dishwasher, oven and large fridge. The beautiful master bedroom decorated in a unique style, leads through into an en-suite bathroom, which also contains a washing machine. There is also a twin bedroom and separate bathroom. Downstairs on the lower ground floor there is another sitting room complete with kitchenette. This leads through into a double bedroom and bathroom. Except for in August, the villa can be rented as a villa for 4, just with the top floor only.
Though the villa is attached on one side, the totally secluded terraces do not overlook any one else and have a view solely of rooftops, plants, palms and sea. The beach is reachable from the garden path and it is just a short drive to the beautiful Cala Brandinchi. The restaurant at the Hotel Due Lune is within walking distance. Tennis courts are also within walking distance and a golf course is nearby.
