Casa La Splendida is ideally located just 700 metres from the unspoilt white sandy beaches of Pittulongu. Set in the hillside overlooking the sea, this brand new villa, designed in traditional Sardinian style, can sleep up to 8 people in its 3 large double bedrooms. The terrace and garden face south over the sea, with spectacular views of the Island of Tavolara. All rooms have high-sloped ceilings with wooden beams and are individually air-conditioned with a quiet remote controlled system.

The exterior walls are terracotta and all the windows and doors have wooden shutters. The villa is surrounded on 3 sides by a private walled landscaped garden and there is a large terrace running the entire length of the villa shaded by a lovely wooden beamed roof and covered in pink flowering bougainvillea. It is an ideal place to dine, or just relax, absorbing the view of the garden, with its 150-year-old olive tree, fruit trees, rare plants and colourful flowers. There is an access to a shared pool.

The south facing garden soaks up the sun for the entire day. The terrace has a large round wicker table with 8 chairs so there is plenty of space to sit and relax over an evening meal.

The interior design is of a very high quality and all rooms have very high, sloped wooden beamed ceilings to ensure maximum air circulation. The large master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom and patio door leading out onto the terrace. There is a second double bedroom with stunning views and a third double bedroom which can sleep 3 adults or 4 children and has an en-suite bathroom as well as a door leading out into the garden. There is also a third bathroom. The large lounge with patio doors has a DVD and a Compact Disc/FM radio player and a well-equipped hand crafted wooden kitchen. There is also a full size tabletop football machine for the children. A full maid service can be provided with the villa.

The beautiful coastline of the Costa Smeralda including the chic ports of Porto Cervo and Porto Rotondo is only 15 minutes. 10 minutes away from the villa, in the other direction, lies the Roman port city of Olbia with many superb cafs, restaurants and shops. Very close to the villa there are many beautiful beaches to visit.

Just a few metres down the beach, but out of sight of the sun beds, is a superb restaurant that serves everything from pizza to daily caught fish, all at excellent prices. Many other good restaurants are nearby as well as a local mini-market. The area is also perfect for walks and the buses run from the bottom of the road into Olbia.
